National Housing Trust (NHT)

0%–5% p.a. by income band

The lowest rates for contributors. Individual loan limit up to J$9M (up to J$12M on homes priced J$14M or less, subject to availability). Combine with a bank “top-up” loan for higher-priced homes.

~7%–9% p.a. typical

JN Bank and Victoria Mutual (VMBS) offer competitive mortgages, diaspora programmes and NHT top-up loans, often with longer terms.

~9%–12% p.a. typical

NCB, Scotiabank, Sagicor Bank and JMMB provide residential mortgages, pre-approvals and financing for overseas Jamaicans buying at home.
